Acrylic Fabric

Most of our canopies are tailored out of acrylic fabric.

We offer only  IRISUN acrylic fabric. It is with no doubts the best european fabric for awnings and patio umbrellas' canopies. During 25 years of experience we developed, along with our supplier, Giovanardi srl, the most suitable version of IRISUN to be applied on our canopies.

Warranties

IRISUN comes with a 5 years warranty, by a normal exposure to sun and atmospheric conditions.
The warranty covers any unusual wear and tear of the fabric and the colour of it. It is applicable as of the date of installation of the umbrella.

Manteinance

Remove dirt by carefully brushing or vacuum-cleaning the fabric.
Occasionally use a water and soft soap solution to clean the fabric (maximum
temperature of the water: 30 ºC).
Apply the soapy solution onto the fabric and rinse thoroughly with water.
Allow the fabric to dry completely before storing the umbrella in the winter bag.
Refrain from using solvents or abrasive detergents.

Spray test

In compliance with ISO 4920 Standard, all of the IRISUN canvasses undergo the SPRAY TEST control.

The purpose of this test is to determine the fabrics' resistance and endurance to superficial wetting.
During this test, the fabric undergoes a "superficial rain"; after which its effect on the fabric is determined.
The results of these tests have awarded all IRISUN canvasses an excellent hydrophobicity. Owing to this, the awnings dry fast and the accumulation of dust is prevented.
